Dr. Ahmed Bio – Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Nurudin Ahmed is a highly respected Doctor of Optometry in the Vancouver Lower Mainland with extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye conditions.

He is multilingual and has been an optometrist for 30+ years, building a solid reputation for providing exceptional eye care to patients of all ages

Before moving to Canada, Dr. Ahmed was in London England where he acquired his undergraduate degree. He then graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Masters in Doctor of Optometry and in Physiological Optics.

Over the past 25+ years, he has also volunteered globally, as a consultant at Khan University Hospitals in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and East Africa, and providing vision care to patients in the Philippines.

Dr. Ahmed is passionate about providing professional vision care and helping his eye patients improve their eye health.

He is known for his compassionate and patient-centred approach to eye care, taking the time to listen to his patients’ concerns.
